Is Uplisting down, or did your calendar sync quietly break?

Listing Uptime · Updated July 22, 2026

Two very different things can throw your calendar off, and they have opposite fixes. One is a real Uplisting outage: the platform is down for everyone, it is rare, and it shows up on a status page. The other is your own sync silently breaking: one link goes stale, one channel disconnects, only your listings are affected, and nothing warns you. Telling them apart is the whole game, because you cannot fix a broken sync by waiting for an outage to pass.

Is Uplisting down right now?

Uplisting does run a public status page, but it only tells you whether Uplisting itself is up, not whether your own calendar sync is still working.

Uplisting publishes a status page at status.uplisting.io, and most of the time it shows everything green. It is a single overall uptime monitor: it does not break out Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or iCal as separate components, and its incident log often reads that there have been no updates in a week. So it answers exactly one question, whether the Uplisting platform is reachable for everyone, and stays silent on the far more common problem, where the platform is fine but one of your own channel connections or iCal links has quietly stopped updating.

The break a status page can’t show you

Uplisting is an official partner of Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo, and connects to those three plus Google through direct APIs rather than iCal. On those channels it markets real-time, two-way sync and automatic double-booking protection, though it does not publish an exact interval. Every other booking site connects by iCal, which Uplisting is clear carries far less: blocked dates only, no rates, no rules, no guest details, refreshed on a polling schedule it does not publish. So even with real-time protection on the big three, two gaps stay open: anything connected by iCal, and any API channel whose connection silently drops or is left half-finished.

When one of those connections fails, Uplisting keeps showing the last data it pulled. There is no red banner, because from the platform’s side nothing is down. The symptoms hosts actually report look like this:

Is it Uplisting, or is it your sync? Find out in 30 seconds

A status page can’t see your account, but your calendars can be compared directly. Paste the export URL from each channel for one property. This lines them up and flags every night booked on one but still open on another, the gap that becomes a double booking. No signup, and it never touches guest details.

Paste the calendar export (.ics) URL from each channel for one property. We read only public booked/blocked dates, never guest details, and store nothing. Can’t find yours? Step-by-step for Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.

What to do if your sync broke

To reconnect a channel, open Uplisting's Connect screen, choose the channel, and approve the connection on Airbnb, Booking.com, or Vrbo, after which Uplisting re-imports your listings, prices, and bookings. Note that reconnecting Airbnb brings listings in as new, so match them carefully, and Booking.com can take around twenty minutes to resume syncing. For an iCal-connected site, open the listing on your calendar, go to the property's Settings, Booking sites tab, and re-add the fresh iCal link to re-establish the feed.

Then confirm the calendars actually match rather than trusting that the reconnect worked, and plan for the next break. Re-linking fixes today; it does nothing about the next silent failure. Continuous monitoring re-checks every channel around the clock and messages you the minute a gap opens or a feed goes dark, in the window Uplisting still shows green.

Questions hosts ask

Is Uplisting down right now?

Check the official status page at status.uplisting.io. If it shows green, and it usually will, the platform is up for everyone, which means a calendar that is not updating is almost certainly one of your own connections rather than an outage. A genuine platform-wide Uplisting outage is rare.

Why is my Uplisting calendar not updating?

The usual cause is one connection quietly failing: a channel that was never fully confirmed on the platform's side, an API connection that dropped, a listing that was disconnected, or an iCal site that only refreshes on a delay. Any of these can leave dates open on one channel while they are booked on another, and the status page will not warn you.

Can Uplisting double-book me?

Uplisting syncs availability in real time across its direct API channels, so in normal operation those block each other automatically. The risk lives outside that protection: any site connected by iCal syncs on a delay, and any channel whose connection silently dropped stops feeding Uplisting at all. Those are the gaps an independent calendar check is for.
