How to find your Airbnb iCal link

Listing Watchdog · Updated July 18, 2026

It lives under Calendar → Availability → Connect calendars, and Airbnb calls it your calendar link rather than iCal, which is half the reason nobody can find it. Here is the exact path, what the link should look like, and a way to prove it works before you rely on it.

The exact clicks

  1. 1Open airbnb.com in a desktop browser and log in to your hosting account. Click Calendar and select the listing whose calendar you want to export.
  2. 2Click Availability in the calendar's settings panel.
  3. 3Scroll to Connect calendars and click Connect to another website.
  4. 4Airbnb shows your calendar link. Copy it whole; it ends in .ics and the tail matters.

Steps per Airbnb’s own help center (“Sync your calendar to other websites”), checked July 2026. Use a desktop browser: Airbnb does not publish an app path for the export link.

What the link looks like

A real Airbnb export link is long, lives on airbnb.com, and ends in .ics, typically shaped like https://www.airbnb.com/calendar/ical/12345678.ics?s=…. The s= part is a secret token: anyone who has the URL can read your booked dates, so treat it like a password. If Airbnb regenerates the link, the old one dies and everything importing it silently stops updating.

Prove it works

Copied it? Test it right now

Paste the link you just copied. You will see whether it is alive, how many reservations it carries, and the date range it covers, before any other platform depends on it.

Paste the calendar export (.ics) URL from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or any channel. We read only public booked/blocked dates, never guest details, and store nothing.

What to do with the link

Paste it into the import side of your other channels: on Vrbo, Booking.com, or your PMS, look for an import or connect calendar option. Then remember the step most hosts miss: each iCal link only carries bookings one direction, so you also need the reverse link, from Vrbo or Booking.com, imported back into Airbnb. One link syncs one way; two links sync both ways.

And because Airbnb only re-imports about every 3 hours, even a perfect setup leaves blind windows. Compare all your channels free to see whether they match right now.

Questions hosts ask

Can I get my Airbnb iCal link from the app?

Airbnb only publishes detailed export steps for the desktop site. The mobile apps show the Connect calendars area, but the reliable path to the export link is a desktop browser (or requesting the desktop site on your phone). If you cannot find the link in the app, that is why.

What does an Airbnb iCal link look like?

A long address on airbnb.com that ends in .ics and includes a secret token, typically in the form airbnb.com/calendar/ical/<listing id>.ics?s=<token>. If what you copied does not end in .ics, it is not the export link.

Is it safe to share my Airbnb calendar link?

The feed is read-only and carries booked and blocked dates, not payment details or messages. But anyone holding the URL can read your occupancy, so treat it like a password: paste it only into calendars and tools you trust, and regenerate it on Airbnb if it ever leaks.

How often does Airbnb update calendars over iCal?

Airbnb re-imports the calendars you connect about every 3 hours, and other platforms pull Airbnb's export on their own schedules. None of it is real time, which is why a booking can sit on one channel for hours before another sees it.
