Status check

Is Lodgify down, or did your calendar sync quietly break?

Listing Watchdog · Updated July 4, 2026

Two very different things can throw your calendar off, and they have opposite fixes. One is a real Lodgify outage: the platform is down for everyone, it is rare, and it shows up on a status page. The other is your own sync silently breaking: one link goes stale, one channel disconnects, only your listings are affected, and nothing warns you. Telling them apart is the whole game, because you cannot fix a broken sync by waiting for an outage to pass.

Is Lodgify down right now?

Lodgify does publish a status page, and most of the time it will show everything green while your own sync is quietly broken.

Lodgify runs a public status page at status.lodgify.com covering platform components like the Channel Manager, Public API, and integrations. It is the right place to check for a genuine platform-wide outage. What it cannot show is whether your own calendar connection stopped working: there is no component on that board for one host's iCal link or one channel that silently disconnected. A stale link on your account leaves the status page green.

The break a status page can’t show you

Lodgify connects to Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com through a direct two-way API on its partner tiers, and falls back to iCal import and export for other channels. iCal feeds refresh on a schedule, roughly every couple of hours per Lodgify's docs, with a manual Synchronize option. Either path can break for a single listing without affecting anyone else, which is exactly the kind of failure a platform status page is not built to catch.

When one of those connections fails, Lodgify keeps showing the last data it pulled. There is no red banner, because from the platform’s side nothing is down. The symptoms hosts actually report look like this:

Is it Lodgify, or is it your sync? Find out in 30 seconds

A status page can’t see your account, but your calendars can be compared directly. Paste the export URL from each channel for one property. This lines them up and flags every night booked on one but still open on another, the gap that becomes a double booking. No signup, and it never touches guest details.

Paste the calendar export (.ics) URL from each channel for one property. We read only public booked/blocked dates, never guest details, and store nothing.

What to do if your sync broke

In Lodgify, open the channel or iCal connection, remove the broken link, and re-add a fresh export URL from the source channel, then run Synchronize now. If a direct channel connection dropped, reconnect it from the Channel Manager.

Then confirm the calendars actually match rather than trusting that the reconnect worked, and plan for the next break. Re-linking fixes today; it does nothing about the next silent failure. Continuous monitoring re-checks every channel around the clock and messages you the minute a gap opens or a feed goes dark, in the window Lodgify still shows green.

Questions hosts ask

Is Lodgify down right now?

Check status.lodgify.com for a real platform-wide outage. If that page is green but your calendar still looks wrong, the more likely problem is a broken connection on your own account, which the status page does not track. Comparing your live calendars will tell you which it is.

Why is my Lodgify calendar not updating?

Usually a single iCal link went stale or a direct channel connection dropped. Lodgify keeps showing the last data it pulled, so nothing flags the break. Remove and re-add the connection with a fresh export URL, then confirm the calendars match.

Can Lodgify double-book me?

Yes, if a sync silently fails. Lodgify's own dashboard cannot warn you about a break it did not detect, which is why an independent check of the actual calendars is worth running.
