Is Guesty down, or did your calendar sync quietly break?
Listing Watchdog · Updated July 4, 2026
Two very different things can throw your calendar off, and they have opposite fixes. One is a real Guesty outage: the platform is down for everyone, it is rare, and it shows up on a status page. The other is your own sync silently breaking: one link goes stale, one channel disconnects, only your listings are affected, and nothing warns you. Telling them apart is the whole game, because you cannot fix a broken sync by waiting for an outage to pass.
Is Guesty down right now?
Guesty does not publish an official status page, so the pages that rank for this are third-party trackers guessing from the outside.
Guesty has no official public status page. The results you find, like SaaSHub, StatusGator, and IsItDownRightNow, are third-party monitors, and at least one states plainly that it has no official Guesty feed to read and is inferring status from user reports. All they can tell you is whether guesty.com loads, not whether a channel API had an incident, and certainly not whether one of your listing's iCal links quietly stopped importing.
The break a status page can’t show you
Guesty connects to Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com through direct APIs, with iCal import and export for other tools. A Guesty iCal import is a one-time pull unless you switch Sync calendar on, and once syncing it refreshes roughly every hour, with Vrbo iCal lagging up to about 3 hours. You can attach up to ten import links per listing, which is a lot of quiet connections to keep alive.
When one of those connections fails, Guesty keeps showing the last data it pulled. There is no red banner, because from the platform’s side nothing is down. The symptoms hosts actually report look like this:
- ·An iCal connection stuck on Warning or Paused for more than a day, which sits there broken until you disconnect and reconnect it
- ·A source calendar behind bot protection that silently blocks Guesty from fetching it, leaving it stale
- ·An import link that does nothing because Sync calendar was never toggled on
- ·Double bookings from the sync delay, which is why Guesty itself suggests booking buffers

Is it Guesty, or is it your sync? Find out in 30 seconds
A status page can’t see your account, but your calendars can be compared directly. Paste the export URL from each channel for one property. This lines them up and flags every night booked on one but still open on another, the gap that becomes a double booking. No signup, and it never touches guest details.
What to do if your sync broke
In Guesty, open the listing's calendar sync settings, find the connection flagged Warning or Paused, disconnect it, and reconnect with a fresh URL, making sure Sync calendar is on. If the source feed sits behind bot protection, that link may need a different export URL.
Then confirm the calendars actually match rather than trusting that the reconnect worked, and plan for the next break. Re-linking fixes today; it does nothing about the next silent failure. Continuous monitoring re-checks every channel around the clock and messages you the minute a gap opens or a feed goes dark, in the window Guesty still shows green.
Questions hosts ask
Does Guesty have a status page?
Not an official one. The trackers that rank, like SaaSHub, StatusGator, and IsItDownRightNow, are third parties inferring status from user reports, and one says outright that it has no official Guesty feed. None of them can see your listing's iCal connections.
Why is my Guesty calendar not updating?
Often an iCal connection stuck on Warning or Paused, a source feed blocked by bot protection, or Sync calendar never switched on. Disconnect and reconnect with a fresh URL, confirm Sync is on, then check the calendars agree.
Can Guesty double-book me?
Yes, which is why Guesty itself recommends booking buffers. The sync delay and silent connection failures both open the door, and neither shows on any status tracker.
