Is Beds24 down, or did your calendar sync quietly break?
Listing Uptime · Updated July 22, 2026
Two very different things can throw your calendar off, and they have opposite fixes. One is a real Beds24 outage: the platform is down for everyone, it is rare, and it shows up on a status page. The other is your own sync silently breaking: one link goes stale, one channel disconnects, only your listings are affected, and nothing warns you. Telling them apart is the whole game, because you cannot fix a broken sync by waiting for an outage to pass.
Is Beds24 down right now?
Beds24 does publish its own status page, and most of the time it will show every component green while your own calendar sync is quietly broken.
Beds24 runs a public status page at beds24.com/status.html. It reports three components, the Channel Manager, Booking Engine, and Control Panel, and normally shows each one running normally, with a note that planned maintenance and faults affecting service are posted there. What it cannot show is whether your own iCal import stopped polling or a single channel connection dropped. A stale link or a disconnected channel on your account leaves that page fully green.

The break a status page can’t show you
Beds24 connects to channels two different ways, and the difference matters when something looks wrong. Large OTAs like Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda, along with Airbnb's certified API, connect over a direct API where availability moves almost instantly. Everything else, including Airbnb's iCal option, Vrbo, Google Calendar, and any generic iCal link, syncs by Beds24 polling a calendar URL. Beds24 says an imported iCal calendar is normally checked multiple times per hour, roughly every 15 minutes on average, but it only controls its own polling. It has no control over how often the other system refreshes its feed, and notes a channel like Airbnb may update its calendar only once a day.
When one of those connections fails, Beds24 keeps showing the last data it pulled. There is no red banner, because from the platform’s side nothing is down. The symptoms hosts actually report look like this:
- ·A booking that disappears from a later iCal import is automatically switched to canceled, so a broken or truncated feed can silently unblock dates you thought were reserved
- ·The ignore-duplicates option matches on dates alone, so a second guest booking the exact same dates can be skipped and never imported
- ·An iCal import needs a public URL to poll, so if the source calendar is set private or the link changes, Beds24 quietly stops receiving bookings
- ·Your Beds24 calendar can show stale availability through no fault of its own, because a channel like Airbnb may only refresh its feed once a day

Is it Beds24, or is it your sync? Find out in 30 seconds
A status page can’t see your account, but your calendars can be compared directly. Paste the export URL from each channel for one property. This lines them up and flags every night booked on one but still open on another, the gap that becomes a double booking. No signup, and it never touches guest details.
What to do if your sync broke
In Beds24, the iCal connections live under Settings, Channel Manager, iCal Import (and iCal Export). To fix a broken import, open iCal Import for the affected room, re-enter the correct public calendar URL, confirm whether the feed treats the end date as the last night or the checkout day, and save. To remove a bad link, clear the URL and set Import to Disable. Direct connections like the Airbnb API, Booking.com, and Expedia each have their own menu under Channel Manager where you can re-authorize them. If a wrong feed imported bad bookings, the delete-booking tool link removes everything that import created.
Then confirm the calendars actually match rather than trusting that the reconnect worked, and plan for the next break. Re-linking fixes today; it does nothing about the next silent failure. Continuous monitoring re-checks every channel around the clock and messages you the minute a gap opens or a feed goes dark, in the window Beds24 still shows green.
Questions hosts ask
Is Beds24 down right now?
Beds24 publishes a live status page at beds24.com/status.html showing its Channel Manager, Booking Engine, and Control Panel. If all three read running normally, the platform is up for everyone, and a calendar that looks wrong is almost always a problem with one of your own connections rather than a platform outage.
Why is my Beds24 calendar not updating?
Usually a single connection has stalled, not the whole platform. iCal imports are only polled a few times an hour and depend on the other system publishing a public, current feed, so a stale, private, or changed link leaves Beds24 showing old data with no error. Direct API channels update almost instantly, so if one channel is behind while the rest are fine, that connection is where to look.
Can Beds24 double-book me?
It is built to prevent it, but the gaps are in timing and feeds, not the platform being down. iCal channels only sync every several minutes and the other site may refresh as slowly as once a day, so two guests can slip into the same dates in that window. Beds24 recommends the direct API over iCal wherever it is available.
